Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Weather Shield Roofing ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") concerning your use of our website at weathershieldroofers.com and our roofing services in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and surrounding areas.
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access our website or use our services.

Services We Provide
Weather Shield Roofing provides professional roofing services including, but not limited to:
- Roof inspections, repairs, and replacements
- Emergency roof repair and tarp installation
- Residential and commercial roofing
- Storm damage restoration
- Gutter installation and repair
- Insurance claim assistance
All services are subject to written estimates and signed service agreements. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
Estimates and Pricing
Free Inspections
We provide free roof inspections and estimates. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise specified. All estimates are subject to change based on unforeseen conditions discovered during work.
Pricing Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, final pricing may vary based on:
- Hidden damage discovered during work
- Changes in material costs
- Scope changes requested by customer
- Structural issues requiring additional repair
Any significant changes to the quoted price will be discussed and approved before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. We typically require a deposit before starting work and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Financing options are available for qualified customers.
Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work with industry-leading workmanship warranties. The specific terms and duration are detailed in your service agreement. Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation but does not cover damage from:
- Acts of nature (hurricanes, tornadoes, hail exceeding design specifications)
- Improper maintenance or neglect
- Modifications or repairs by unauthorized parties
- Normal wear and tear
Manufacturer Warranties
Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties. As a GAF Preferred Contractor, we can offer enhanced manufacturer warranties on qualifying installations. Warranty details, registration, and claims must follow manufacturer guidelines.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weather Shield Roofing shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Damage caused by pre-existing conditions not disclosed during inspection
- Delays due to weather, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our control
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by South Carolina law.
Property Access and Responsibility
By engaging our services, you grant us access to your property for the duration of the project. You agree to:
- Provide clear access to work areas
- Secure or remove valuable items from work areas
- Restrain pets during work hours
- Notify us of any hazards or special conditions
While we take precautions to protect your property, we are not responsible for damage to landscaping, driveways, or other property features that may occur during normal roofing operations.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule services subject to the following:
- Cancellations before materials are ordered: Full refund of deposit
- Cancellations after materials are ordered: Deposit minus material costs
- Cancellations after work begins: Pro-rated billing for work completed
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, material delays, or other circumstances beyond our control without penalty.
Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about our services, please contact us immediately. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and professionally. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication shall be governed by the laws of South Carolina and resolved in the courts of Horry County, South Carolina.
Insurance Claims Assistance
We provide assistance with insurance claims as a courtesy service. However:
- We cannot guarantee insurance approval or coverage amounts
- You remain responsible for payment regardless of insurance decisions
- Deductibles and non-covered items are your responsibility
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Weather Shield Roofing or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes affecting active service agreements will be communicated directly to affected customers.
